Sparkling like a Jewel, the Sapphire Coast…

Twofold Bay, Sapphire Coast, South-Eastern Australia…

About us…

We love the colours of the Australian Outback, the red earth touching a blue sky on a faraway horizon; and the fabulous coastline of our sunburnt country, where a golden sandy beach is washed over by a warm turquoise blue sea…

A few years ago we graduated from work and re-entered the classroom of life where an education is guaranteed and all that is needed is an open mind.Cheers, Baz & Janet

These clouds you got make the beach even better to loot at. Totally awesome pics 🙂 Keep the stories coming!

That is a beautiful place, Baz and Janet. I miss the shore. We haven’t seen it here since February.

We had our first hard freeze this morning.

I was able to make two batches of wine this fall. I’ll know in another month or two how they came out. The grapes weren’t quite as ripe as we wanted, but hopefully made a fine rose. Good lunch wine! Skins tend to pick up smoke which ends up in the wine. We know of at least on winemaker in the valley who is not making pinot noir this year.

Look forward to hearing how it goes. Smoke in the grapes has been a problem here after the bush fires earlier this year. Cheers Baz
