About

About us…

We love the colours of the Australian Outback, the red earth touching a blue sky on a faraway horizon; and the fabulous coastline of our sunburnt country, where a golden sandy beach is washed over by a warm turquoise blue sea…

A few years ago we graduated from work and re-entered the classroom of life where an education is guaranteed and all that is needed is an open mind.

Cheers, Baz & Janet

Wow that’s an amazing photo of you at the top! Sounds like you have a fantastic adventurous life. I’ve done quite a lot of hiking, nothing beats that feeling when you reach the summit, especially at sunrise :). I look forward to following your stories!

Thanks for visiting my blog. Back in my days of retail I worked at K2 Base Camp for a number of years fitting out climbers for the Big Mountains. I wish you all the best in getting to the top and back down again.

Thanks, I’m some way off the big mountains, but working my way there, surely, but slowly. And as they say, summiting is optional, getting down is mandatory… Cheers, Baz

Thanks for stopping by and liking my blog! I must seem very much like an amateur to a pro like you. Maybe one day!
