   Dude, the way you’re working for it, this is a likely “go” for you. Time will tell, weather and altitude you know, hard to predict conditions. But strong legs, big lungs and an iron will can’t hurt! 🙂

     I think it is a combination of a number of things. Fitness is important, but the ability to go all day, and then look after yourself when you get to camp means that endurance is key.

     But, it is a journey for me, and it is unfolding and I’m learning more as I make my way, so I’ll keep you posted! As they say in the classics, just do it…what are you up to next?

   I just wanted to say, as a fellow outdoorsman, thank you for following my blog. Your mission to accomplish the worlds best 8,000 meter peaks is inspirational at the least. I wish I had the life style to pursue such tasks.

        I live here! 🙂 Working in exhibition design and construction. Which accounts for the traveling. We also restore antique vespas, lambrettas and bikes and other items. That is a hobby. 🙂

    This is awesome! Hiking is one of my favorite pastimes when I’m in a location that allows for it. Future hubby and I always try to find at least a day trip when we go on vacations… Keep it up!
