Sunsets are for romantics, for lovers…
For those who dare to lose themselves in the moment, entwined in a lover’s embrace as one, an embrace as warming as the colours of a setting sun…

A beautiful Valentine’s Day colored sky to warm heart and soul! Blood and flame, a bottle of champagne, black lace of trees on a fading sky. I doesn’t get better than that! 🙂
There is a beautiful song by Ian Tyson called “Farewell to the North” which mentions the trees looking like blace lace on a fading sky. Everytime I see trees against the sky like that I think of that song. That one line really struck me. Quite beautiful and descriptive.

If you, Janet and TomO love the wild places of this world and have an urge to pick up and go, that song will make you all cry. Hauntingly beautiful, and well-written, as only Ian Tyson can do. His then wife Sylvia Fricker sings duet with him.
