A Tawny Frog Mouth (Australian Wildlife)

Night-jar, owls
Tawny Frog Mouth, Australia

I captured this picture of a Tawny Frog Mouth sitting in the backyard this morning. Standing tall and silent it kept a close eye on me as I clicked away.

Doesn’t it have such lovely textures that blend in so well with its environment?

Australia hey, strewth you just have to love it.

And by the way, Merry Christmas!

Oddly enough, yes. Very much a bird, and they are so beautiful and this was taken in the backyard of my sister and brother-in laws property. We frequently have one visiting our property also and it always let’s itself known, such a wonderful sound they make!

      Cheers, Baz
