This coming week we are heading out to tour this wonderful part of Australia, although the Corona Virus restrictions will limit our travel to New South Wales only…
Our plan is to meander through Western New South Wales, and then north along the border between New South Wales and South Australia.
There is so much history in the region to explore and with recent rains we expect the country will be in great shape.
Hopefully we’ll get some warmer weather…!

About us…
We love the colours of the Australian Outback, the red earth touching a blue sky on a faraway horizon; and the fabulous coastline of our sunburnt country, where a golden sandy beach is washed over by a warm turquoise blue sea…
A few years ago we graduated from work and re-entered the classroom of life where an education is guaranteed and all that is needed is an open mind.
Cheers, Baz & Janet
Being locked in NSW isn’t as bad as some would think. We’ve found gems that we hadn’t realised existed and we haven’t even left the coast. It is indeed a country of surprises. Safe travels.

So true, for us travelling is an experience that surprises in the most unusual places and often right under “your nose” in your own backyard, so to speak…Cheers, Baz

Yes, wishing you and Janet safe traveling! The photos of Corner Country are beautiful (I would expect no less 🙂 ), and I especially love the windmill at sundown. Was that near where you were camping?

Thanks Lavinia, I must confess some of the photos are from various outback places. The windmill is at a place called Glendambo, not too far from the Woomera Rocket Range…and yes, we did camp there. Cheers, Baz

Great country – enjoy! If it’s not flooded looping up from Camerons Corner via Merta Merta & the Old Strzelecki track to Innamincka & up to the Coongie Lakes would be a nice little jaunt.

Thanks Cuppa, unfortunately we’ll be limited to NSW on this trip. Mind you, we’ve spent plenty of time up around Milparinka, so looking forward to a trip back out there. Cheers, Baz
