    That’s a gorgeous heron, Janet, caught in mid-scratch. And an intense blue sky for a background! You should write a book about your travels, with the photos to supplement the stories.

    what an amazing photo :] the heron’s pose…the color of the sky….will you be making a calendar or cards out of your photos??? or a book????

      Thanks Barbara! Yes, I was pretty happy when i got to see how the photo turned out. We were packing up to leave and he/she just landed in the dead tree next to our camp, so I grabbed the camera and clicked away. Would be great to do something with the photos…just not sure what format that would take.
