    The horizon is very beautiful, and impressively wide. My impression is that the landmarks out there are far and few between, requiring good navigational skills without the aid of high tech equipment. Always been interested in that.

      Hi Lavinia, well I am a big fan of paper maps and a compass, but mind you use GPS these days as well. What is truly amazing is the way aboriginal people navigated this land. In fact, dreamtime stories is the roadmap!
