What a great shot, glad you’re at Ayers Rock now that was my favorite place when I visited, felt at peace out there.

    Great to hear from you.

We left about two weeks ago and are now in Wilpena Pound – Flinders Ranges National Park – leaving tomorrow (28th) for Leigh Creek – probably two nights there then William Creek, Coober Pedy and after that Uluru/Kings Canyon. My guess is we will be in Uluru the first week of August.

Keep in touch – this is my personal email. Do you have UHF and if so what channel do you leave on?

The KK is working well although I think we are “under-kitted.” We have seen two rigs that have impressed – a huge Winebago that expanded sideways with a Prado in the trailer and a Unimog 4WD bus with a RAV4 in tow. The Unimog I like but having driven them when I was in the Army Reserve years ago, the centre of gravity is too high for my liking. The Winebago – that was another story.

We are having a ball — this beats working by a long stretch (other than perhaps the chilly mornings).

Great to hear all going well Gwyn, I’m in Ayers Rock and heading along the Great Central Road towards the Gibson Desert in a few days!

      Cheers, Baz
