The Elders and traditional lands of the Birriliburu People of Australia’s Gibson Desert…
Photo; Baz – The Landy
The Birriliburu Lands are an Indigenous Protected Area not open to the general public. I visited at the kind invitation of the Elders of the Birriliburu People.
What an honor to be invited into their world and for sharing with us.

ha! I don’t know whether you picked up from my blog…but i am a displaced Aussie….and i totally agree with you Baz…it is a wonderful land!!! i was able to visit the Red Center when I came home once (I’ve lived in the States for over 20 years now and always dream of returning to Oz) Uluru and the outback were so inspiring …. i felt a real sense of kinship with the land even though I was only there as a tourist ….. I miss my homeland and the culture so love seeing it through your eyes …thank you so much, it was a gift to find your blog 🙂
