Great post Baz. Words to live by. I have just made some difficult decisions that will allow me to do exactly what Thoreau suggests. I’ve separated from my partner of 16 years, am putting my house on the market when I return from Kenya and have given notice at work. In spring I fly to Patagonia to start cycling my way around the world. It’s sad to leave my partner and scary to set off like this but I can’t deny my dreams any longer. I am just lucky that the woman I have loved all these years understands.
