Early morning fun (Australian beach culture)

surf skiAnother glorious start to the day on Australia’s eastern seaboard.

A 10,000 metre row on the C2 rowing machine in the pre-dawn darkness before heading to the beach for some fun with TomO, followed a breakfast of hot chips and tomato sauce; all before 8:00am…

Whoops sorry Janet, meant to say healthy muesli and yoghurt 😉

I would be too, although I do like muesli and yogurt.

Lovely photo! We are in the middle of our blizzard wicked high surf crashing over our seawalls. I love the calm waters there 🙂

Yes I guess I was too busy looking at the happy dude to see the horrid surf 🙂 Our coastline is sinking into the sea today while amid a horrid nor’ easter the cost is 30 degrees below 0 with the windchill and that is F and over 24″ of snow so far CRAZY I hope Feb/March chill out! lol

That does look nice. My tomorrow morning will see beautiful clear skies and -26˚C. I think I will put on the swimming suit and take a dip in the river. Ooops! Can’t do that. It’s frozen solid. Oh well. I can dream. 🙂

Crikey, -26C, hell and we were thinking the water was a little cool. Went into the mountains yesterday in the foothills behind Newcastle… +39C…phew!
