The Woolshed - Currawinya, Outback Australia

Taken as the sun was dawning on a new day in the outback, the woolshed is located within Currawinya National Park, near Hungerford, in far western Queensland.

Nearby is the beautiful Ourimperee Water-Hole…

Great pic Baz. I haven’t seen a wool shed as big as this in years. Round my part of the world they have downsized them a great deal as they have “up dated” them.

Over the years a lot of growers here have had problems with Workcover and these beautiful old sheds. Ha, no sense of adventure. lol. 🙂

Nice photo Baz, I come from a family of shearers and my early working life was spent in woolsheds working my way through University. Its a tough life and I felt like I was in prison being stuck inside a sweltering hot shed all day looking with longing out to the great outdoors. Teaches you all about hardwork though!
