Can you believe that 2013 has rolled around already? And how good were those fireworks on Sydney Harbour to see in the New Year!
Anyway, I know I’ve been shouting it very loudly at every opportunity of late, but just in case you’ve missed it, 2013 will be a big year for me in terms of mountaineering and climbing, and it starts at the end of this week as I head to New Zealand’s Southern Alps…

Hey Baz…I awarded you too. Not sure that you have much time for all these awards right now (nor do I know how many followers you have for the Leibster to be appropriate) but none the less, at the very least a link to your blog has been shared.

Thank you very much as well!!!! Starting the year out strong with races the first two weekends of January!! The first regatta is a distance race with a high of 65 degrees and a chance for rain! That is going to be a cold one 🙂

Happy New Year. I can’t wait to see the photos and read the stories of your climbing adventures. Reading your blog is inspiring to me because it reminds me not to limit myself 🙂 . I’m hoping to move house in 2013. We will move into the city with it’s river for kayaking and cliffs for climbing. I have even been looking into joining my old university rock climbing club again (anyone can join – you don’t have to be a student).

Happy New Year downunder. I’m still back here in 2012, just gearing up for our own celebrations on the West Coast. I’m very excited for you with only a few days to go for your challenge. Mine starts in five hours- a more modest one but exciting nonetheless for me (2013 km and $2013.00 for charity in 2013). Healthy Happy New year to you and yours. Jo from Canada.
